Sales & Corporate Partnerships  

WEST Diversity & Inclusion is a cross-company mentorship program for mid-career women in technical roles. Our mission is to help women enter and flourish in technical roles by connecting them in 1:1 mentorship as well as to the larger community of women in tech. Mid-career women are leaving tech at twice the rate of men, but they should be our next generation of leaders and role models! We encourage companies to support the career development of their women in technical roles through WEST mentorship. 

We are looking for someone to drive sponsorship sales end to end and manage sponsor relationships. Responsibilities include creating a sales pipeline for twice-annual WEST cohort sponsorship, creating sales and marketing materials, leading sales calls, coordinating cross-functionally with the WEST and Everwise teams, closing sales deals, and managing customer relationships. The ideal candidate is a creative self-starter who is passionate about supporting diversity in tech! Estimated time required is ~10-15 hrs/wk. Compensation is a combination of salary and sales commission. 

 

Responsibilities

  • ~10 hrs/week
  • Generate pipeline for twice-annual WEST cohort sponsorship
  • Lead WEST sponsorship sales calls and answer questions via email 
  • Coordinate sales efforts with WEST and Everwise teams
  • Close sales deals for each cohort 
  • Manage customer relationship throughout the cohort
  • Create and maintain sales decks and other sales and marketing materials 
  • Create contracts and manage invoices

 

Qualifications

  • Passion for supporting diversity in tech and helping others  
  • 5+ yrs prior work experience 
  • Experience working with customers or partners 
  • Great communication skills, written and verbal 
  • Organized, good at time management
  • Able to work independently 
  • Sales and marketing experience a plus 
  • Experience in a technical role a plus
