When do you know you're ready to step into engineering directorship, or if that's a role you would want to step into at all? While the director role varies significantly from company to company, generally a successful leader in this role is expected to:

• Advocate for funding and resources to enable successful execution of deliverables

• Expertly navigate their teams through seasons of change
