Allison McHenry recently started as SVP of Engineering at The Daily Beast, a tabloid-style news and media site with 27 million monthly unique visitors. Immediately prior to that, she was at Meta supporting a team of 45 engineers, managers and managers of managers working on the Facebook Profile, and earlier experience includes acting as Executive Director of Engineering for the Standalone Products Group at The New York Times, a team of 85 engineers, managers and directors. She is passionate about mentorship, inclusion, and building healthy organizations.
